Hailiang Zhang

As Business Head and Executive Vice President for Vistra North Asia region, Hailiang leads strategic growth initiatives and post-merger integration following the transformative Vistra-Tricor merger. He is accountable for driving cross-border M&A strategy, operationalizing synergies, and scaling the region’s infrastructure, talent ecosystem, and partnerships to unlock long-term value from the combined entity. With over 20 years of leadership in consulting and professional services, Hailiang brings deep expertise in business transformation, client-centric innovation, and cross-border collaboration. Prior to his current role, he served as CEO of Tricor Greater China for six years, where he positioned the business as a market leader and laid the groundwork for its seamless integration into Vistra Group. Before joining Tricor, he held senior roles at Genpact Asia, delivering high-impact business development initiatives and cultivating long-term partnerships. Hailiang holds an EMBA from the Central European International Business School (CEIBS) and is a Fellow and Committee Member of CPA Australia, as well as a Certified Fund Professional of the Asset Management Association of China. His credentials also include Lean Six Sigma and PMP certification.
